GMAC bilks GM Lease Customers

Just a nasty finance plan on the backs of GM dealers, good paying customers.

Do not lease a new vehicle from GM until GMAC settles with you. The way GMAC will play it is to have you driving a new car before they assess your old car. Your delear may have levied charges against you the leasor for damages, you pay them and lease a new car and weeks even months later you get a bill from GMAC. You see GMAC owns the vehicle not your dealer, your dealer cannot sign off on damages anymore.

My friend found out months after he returned his car with a 8000 plus dollar buy out that GMAC sold his car for 3500 under the buy-out and charged him the difference. He thought he was done with them but has now hired the same lawyer, I will use, to fight this for him.

Fun way to help your dealers GMAC.

My dealer told me today that they(GMAC) are a bureaucracy of people hiding under their desks afraid to do anything, calling them ridiculous. He said his dealership is afraid to lease to new customers. Many GM dealers are demanding arbitration now to protect them from GMAC. Imagine dealer frustration levels, frustrations which have my dealer offering me $100 to have my lawyer draw up a letter.

You cannot speak to anyone in charge; they refused to put me through to the management. Gave me a 1-800 number but you have to know the extension of the person you want to talk to.

Antagonists where easy to find and ones like Frank and Tracy said I have an attitude problem.

Personally I think Chev should have left Canada when they closed the Oshawa Plant

I think Chev is now as foreign a company as Nissan or Toyota.

Listed on the NewYork stock exchange, they are foreign, Toronto is not good enough for America but American is supposed to be good enough for Canadians. Your job if you choose a new Chev is to pay the bottom line and be good to NYSE:GM shareholders.

Take a good look at any other car company, or at least ask some questions and arrange your own lease.

Make GMAC settle before you lease a new Chev or be very afraid, your dealer wants your business and will get you out the door in a new car. When your troubles begin, GM and their dealers will say "that's between you and GMAC"..... buyer beware.

GM charging customers for a know problem with blistering and peeling dash.

Gm knows the dash paint peels especially around the radio, above the radio on the dash and the radio control buttons, in a simple reaction with body oils which interact with the paint. They will not change it or recall it and seriously plan for you to pay for their mistakes.

They are charging customers to replace these parts when they have known about this problem for over 7 new releases.

Dogs want to charge me too!

We will see how it goes in a court of law.

My dealer offered me money for my lawyer that is truly how bad this is getting.

Check it out search Yahoo or Google for "GM peeling dash"

Chev found a new finance source

Nasty boys will reap what they sow.

Nissan, dam and even Ford are treating customers well.

ciao chev

GMAC put the screws to me on this one.

GMAC screwing customers on lease returns.

Figure this in your next transaction with your Chev dealer.

If you lease your vehicle, it is owned by gmac and they are screwing everyone for a buck.

Tell me when you lease a vehicle from your dealer and the lease term is up do you lease another or walk home?

Yes of course you drive off the lot with a new Chev. and now the fun begins for many GM customers.

Just about everyone gets a bill from GMAC for thousands of dollars in damages which used to be called normal wear and tear, or they will sell the vehicle below the buy out and bill you the difference.

Well I think this will spell the end for GM.
